what's the customer segment that represents the most purchases?

In this early version of Bonnie, I don’t have access to purchase stats broken down per segment, so I can’t see which of your saved segments in Engage has the most purchases or revenue right now.

I can see that you have many segments defined, but I can’t join them to your orders in a way that gives “number of purchases per segment” directly.

How you can find it in Engage

A practical way is to use exports + your BI/Excel:

1. Choose candidate segments
Start with your “heavy” or value-based segments (e.g. Best customers, VIP, high spenders, loyalty tiers).

2. Export for each segment
From Engage, export:

  • Contact ID
  • Order ID
  • Order date
  • Order value

for the time period you care about (e.g. last 12 months).

3. Calculate in Excel/BI
For each segment:

  • Size = count of unique contacts
  • Total purchases = count of orders
  • Total revenue = sum of order value
  • AOV = revenue / purchases

4. Sort by total purchases
The segment at the top is the one representing the most purchases.

Would you like step‑by‑step instructions on how to set up the export in Engage, or are you already comfortable with exports and want help with the Excel/BI side instead?
