A MatchGroup is the container for the matching logic (MatchRules) and users (Assignees) that records are assigned to when they match the rules.


If you have no MatchRules then all records will match. You must have one or more users set as Assignees. This will be the team that deal with records matched by this MatchGroup.


Use multiple MatchGroups to cater for complex scenarios where records need to be funnelled to different teams. See the knowledgebase in the Help tab for in-depth guidance.


Work your way down the panels on the right, setting the Object and Assignment Field, creating MatchRules and adding Assignees.


CapacityModels and SLAs are optional.


When records match to this MatchGroup, you will see the assignment audit trail in the MatchLogs on the bottom right.
